Secret army flights over DC

lt Has come to light that there are secret flights over DC in budget report, from Davison Army Airfield. Aim of this Homeland security type mission is to prepare for the unexpected be it man made or natural causes.

Though since 9/11 thought it was de rigeur / the norm to see likes of an H-60 buzzing DC.

The USCG has an Airbus Helicopters MH-65C on alert at National Airport, air interception etc.

Davison AAF has usual ARNG UH-72A for the S&S and Dustoff. The 12th Aviation Bn ‘Wings Of Athens Capitol’ operates VIP equipped UH-60 (one has gold and black stripes across) and C-12D.

With all those details, it's hardly a secret, is it?

Folks.....there are all sorts of flight operations that go on as a routine basis and for ah hoc issues that crop up....and not just in the Washington DC area.

There many deployed small units scattered around the country.

No need to discuss what they are or where or what their missions are.

It is a large country thus response time issues demand the spreading of resources to meet the operational timeline requirements.

Train for all eventualties and it becomes a Government conspriacy.

Don't train for it and do it on the fly, then lots of SNAFU, congress "Why Why Why didn't you train for this

Train for worst case, it happens, its bad but not as bad as it could have been with untrained units without a plan.

Dammed if you do, dammed if you don't.

Unfortunately, the U.S. Federal Government is so screwed up, I can see why many Americans don't trust it.

Get that... they can't trust their own government that they elect. That's incredibly sad.

If you don't believe me, post a thread on Jet Blast about the 2nd Amendment, and wait to see how long it takes for an American to mention protection from the government.

Take your 2nd Amendment discussion to Jet Blast.

This is not the forum for it.

When you do post....make sure you understand why the various Amendments came about.....beginning with the Declaration of Independence and Federalist Papers.

The Declaration was pretty clear in reminding all why it became necessary for us to do as we did....and clearly stated the Founding Fathers saw rejecting oppression was a duty of the Citizen.

In order to do that if needed one must have the means.

The Mods seem to take the view that any discussion of the Second Amendment on a normal thread is counter productive as the 2 sides never agree - and may lead to the thread being locked.

And with good reason; no more, please.

One post has already been removed before OT ‘Beadwindow’ gets called on the thread.
