I was really sad to hear of the passing of “Spot” Phillips yesterday. You don’t expect people to have fatal accidents whilst conducting nav aid calibration flights

Had the pleasure of working for him in Kabul and when he was OC LATCC(Mil) at West Drayton. One of the good guys without a doubt.
