Oshkosh 2018 Warbirds Departing

For those of you who can remember the thrill of Big Pistons (Pratt and Whitney style).....you might enjoy this bit of video.

When the Sky Raider departs.....and you see the Sun shining through the Prop....It reminds you of what a real airplane that bird was in its time!

You might have to endure a five second commercial at the beginning....sorry.

Thanks for that SAS, a trip down memory lane for this ex USN student on the T-28. Just wish I had the necessary $$$.

Excellent, sad news from France though, we have lost two Airworthy vampires to a fire

Not at Oshkosh I don't believe but this aircraft is a marvel to consider from an engineering standpoint.

I am quite sure there was some awfully funny Tea in the Pot at the Design Office!
