Question AA Retention

I know this was debated to death earlier on in the year, but has there been any more on AA retention package/dosh. I heard the other day that if the AEOp/WSOp branch drops much more, then its unrecoverable.

All lips are sealed, though we don't expect to hear anything until the new year.

BTW isn't it odd that the first reply was written by someone completely unconnected to AA? Just a thought.

Well dont hold your breath for this one!

I cant help feeling that that yet another bat will be stuck up the AA collective ar$e.

To quote our out going AOC 2Gp at the rear crew briefing some 18 months ago:

'ALM's have done not too bad by remaining on the present pay band' ??????( what about FS & MALM's pay banding then?)

'Air Engineers will wither and die on the vine'

'Off course, there will always be jobs for Officers'

Brilliant!

Aha!
Flaps, wondered how long it was going to be before you popped up to comment on AA again. So no, don't get started.

Rumour control at ISK say we should know before October.

S*** weather up here isn't it?

Got a feeling that rather than just look at AA retention and pay, the study may have gone further still into looking at Rear Crew training as a whole, including WSO.

While this is certainly needed, it's a shame that the AA will have to wait until all the findings have been made, rather than the Top Neddies unveilling an interim decision...
