NH90 helicopter crash, North sea.

At 10.29pm on Wednesday a French army NH90 "Caiman" helicopter crashed onto the deck of the French amphibious assault ship Dixmude. Four deck crew were injured by flying debris, one of them seriously. The badly injured sailor was transported to a hospital near Paris. The helicopter crew escaped from the wreckage without significant injury.

The accident happened 70nm North of Dunkirk while the ship was heading for the North Atlantic to take part in NATO exercise Trident Juncture 2018.
