The return of the gnome

At last the gnome was reunited with those sixty (R) chaps! Having tracked him down to the Kiwi P3, he spent a very enjoyable few days outside the Griffin, attracting more attention than the aircraft (some would say not surprisingly!). After a short flight in the bomb bay of the F117, he was last seen heading off with a US C130 crew, with the promise of a B2 flight to complete his trio of current stealth(y) ac. Over the past 2 years he has managed 15 types and some 160 hrs in the air (including Bagram and the province). If you see him, keep us all updated!

More interestingly, anyone care to comment on 28 Sqns renaming from 28 AC to 28 (F) Sqn.....!!?

RIAT- we came, we drank, we spent many an interesting hour on the bus. Hi to all those who went, and I hope the fixed wing guys now understand that helicopters don't use P of F to fly, but belief!
