Personalised Wooden Desk Top Models

I've done some searching of Google and Pprune archives looking for a company that will produce a customised wooden (or other materials!) desktop model of an aircraft. The Pprune archives are as old as 2006 and some of the companies recommended no longer exist (or the links don't work). Google provides a plethora of companies but I was hoping for some recommendations from fellow Ppruners. I'm looking to get a model produced to mark someones retirement - specific colour scheme, specific names, specific fit etc of a Tornado GR4.

Anybody have any recommendations or experiences?

Thanks very much in advance

I have quite a number of models from Nice Airplanes and can recommend them. They can make any aeroplane you wish if you provide the details. Efficient, courteous and not too expensive.

Nice airplanes made me a lovely hardwood Victor K1 tanker earlier this year. I specified XA 937 of 214 squadron in the 1972 colour scheme and that is exactly what I got. Their comms are brilliant - at all stages they will send you photos of the model so that you can make comments and amendments as they go along. I was delighted with the model which cost me £150 plus postage, although I did get done for import VAT at 20%. Reading the regs I think I could have had that reduced to 5% as a work of art (and who can deny an HP Victor is a work of art!) but I didnt bother. Very satisfied

And Nice Airplanes made me an excellent model of the Tiger Moth I learnt to fly in in 1959. As others have said, they were very helpful and got the colour scheme absolutely right.
