Probably not highest paid if take into account various totalitarian countries and the side benefits available to bolster their official pay, but seems a substantial salary.
I would support good pay for thoseserving in the military, but their seems a disparity in the pay of the very senior ranks.
One wonders about the “independence” of the Remuneration Tribunal as it decides on the other categories it overseas. The Aust PM takes home an enormous salary compared with UK and US leaders.
