Shackleton AEW.2 interior
I don't own this space under my name. I should have leased it while I still could
Steve, try the Manchester museum. They agreed to let me in their aircraft though in the event I wasn't able to go.

Ex-rigger - I am afraid that the interior of this aircraft has been seriously messed around with and is not representative of an AEW2. (Missing radar scopes etc)
Have a look at... http://www.military-airshows.co.uk/p...aphs/galll.htm

Ex-R - no problem. It looks like some of the boxes in the back are non-standard and there is a hole where one of the scopes should be. I believe that 960 was delivered to Manchester well before the Shackleton ceased operational service, and therefore some of the "rarer" boxes were removed for spares and it looks like some other boxes have been used to fill the holes (just conjecture of course).
