We had a couple of minibuses at Sleaford Tech, cadets for the use of. The smart one was a light blue Austin Morris JU complete with college crest. The spare was a J2 scrapheap, the later one with a floor shift. But with a difference because 1st was where you might expect 3rd to be etc.Probably because the engine was mounted the wrong way round. Once in the Lake District, the throttle cable broke so the solution was to have a second driver connected to the carb via a length of string.
