RN SAR Sea King

So I’ve just seen a Navy SAR Sea King (was close enough to see the orange and grey paintwork) winching from a yacht over Weymouth bay, am I losing my mind at the age of 19 and seeing things, or are there some still flying a year and a half after they were retired? Strange to see one in Dorset as well as we’ve always been covered by Coastguard SAR even before the mil SAR was killed off.

Cheers

There are two regenerated at Fleetlands, on the MAR and being used by some private mob to train (I think) German SAR aircrew. You may have been watching a SAREX.
