I was extremely privileged to serve on 53 Sqn (Belfasts) at the same time as Ken. He was a very able captain and always an absolute joy to fly with. He went off to the hangar in the sky two days ago aged 91 (heart attack). I thank you Ken for the part you played in my education.

Jock: I remember Ken, we did No 5 Course together in 1969. Alex D and I were very much at the younger end of that Course and, with his death some years back, I'm left wondering how many of us from that time are still around.
