Worth noting that even now there's been no whiff of apology or even retraction. What should be of even more concern to us on this forum is that in a very long (even by "gob****e politician" standards) closing speech, Mr Corbyn didn't even mention defence once.

Mr Jezzer Corbyn didn't mention Defence once......

Largely because there will be none required !. No illegal immigrants, they will ALL be legal, with totally open doors, no limits.

As for Enemy states, there will be none, as we progressively align with Mr Putin et al, so why spend all this stupid money on Defence ?

I'm only speculating but he probably will need all the Defence budget to pay for all his re-nationalisation of Post, Gas, Electricity, Water, NHS PFI Contracts et al, the list is not exhaustive as his Chancellor in waiting hasn't finished his dreams yet, and his ADC Ms D Abbott has not done the calculations yet, as her abacus has lost a couple of rows of counting beads.

Can't wait to see how his popularity transforms from Conference ( aided and organised by the ultra left wing MOMENTUM organisation) transforms into a new Government at the polls !! Mind you, everyone in the Labour party thought that he'd never get elected as leader and that's why poor old Jo Cox signed his nomination papers , amongst others. It was a charitable well meaning act that backfired on them.

Having read this thread, and associate links, I am reinforced in my joy to have emigrated.

What an atrocious assemblage of Trotskyist garbage Corbyn has gathered around him.

God Save The Queen, and God Help Britain [if you have a minute to spare, please].

My Missus, not known for a deep and abiding interest in politics, watched the news report on the Labour Party Conference closing ceremonies and commented. "They look like a cult".

A very insightful comment that was repeated by the "entrepreneur" woman in glasses who appeared on Sky Daybreak this morning.

A cult is exactly what the Labour Party has become. If Corbyn gets into power I believe emigration would not be an unreasonable response.
