Airshow 100 Coventry on Quest

Showing Thursday FreeView Quest @ 19:00-20:00 Airshow 100 Coventry.
John Nikol presents nostalgic view of aircraft of the 50’s, such as the Lockheed Electra, DC-3 and 4, Flying Fortress “Sally B”, F86 Sabre.
Cliff Spink (Air Marshal Ret) is the pilot, where my memory of him was at Wattisham on 111 Sqn.
Watched the same programme aired earlier in the week and found it fascinating.
Hope others might also find it of interest.

I can also recommend it, quite an incite into operating the Electra as well. It was quite poignant for me because I was there and it was a very good show but marred by the unfortunate fatal accident of the Spirit of St. Louis replica.

Poignant for me also.
To see the Vintage pair brings memories of a good friend killed in the Meteor in 1986 at Mildenhall.
