Requirement for Flight Data Monitoring (FDM)

In January the MAA amended RA1205 -Air System Safety Case (ASSC) and added a few elements which were to be explicitly addressed as part of the ASSC (see link below).

FDM is one of these requirements, along with CWS and FDR; however, is everyone aware of what FDM can do for your Safety Management System (SMS) and that, despite what people say, isn't a "Spy in the cockpit". It is protected by the Data Protection Act and can be a powerful tool in capturing and analysing Safety data.

Just wondering what is happening to address it across all the fleets?
