At the age of 93, this brave lady passed away late last year. RiP

RIP - was aware of her via a friend who is a guide at BBMF. Brave ladies doing vital work.

it has been my privelege to meet a few of these characters

If I used the word "hero" I think they would have slugged me - to a woman/man all they ever said was "there was a job to be done and I did it,,"

if only the modern world was the same......
