Vano Mikoyan dies

A well know chief designer has died.
I was going to title it rest in peace.
But some of you might have different views!

Well, you cannot deny the talent of the man & his products, even if he was on the "other side" - definitely worthy of a post in any case tartare, well done!

Whatever side we might be on, I believe we should recognise that Russia has always made good aeroplanes, and continues to do so. The MiG-29, and its many derivatives, must be rated amongst the great war planes of the world.

MiG designers deserve respect - especially one who was a member of the great Mikoyan family.

I offer my aeronautical respect to Vano (Ivan) Anastasovich Mikoyan.
