Bulgarian President Elect Rumen Radev

... just happens to be a former Mig pilot. His flying skills appear somewhat better than the other President-Elect Trump.

Mods - can you tidy up the misspelling in the thread title please - thanks.

Not sure what Trump (never a military Aviator) has to do with this. See forum title.

That the Bulgarian President Elect is a former military jet pilot: Good news, from a purely parochial point of view. Finally, an electorate that shows the good sense to put an aviator in charge.

(I await some interesting responses to that last sentence).

The Bush duo were pilots......wasn't Bush the younger a pilot in the National Guard? His dad was a good bloke though, I think.
I don't know any we had. Tebbit was a crab I think, mixed feelings about him.
Tony Benn was a Spit pilot. Sorry, this thread has been kicked its arse out of before.

Don't forget Flight Lieutenant Jerry Rawlings. His ascent to presidency was welcomed by all Supplementary List officers in the RAF, let's hear it for the flight lieutenants. He was serving at the time.
