National Memorial Arboretum

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this posting so please bear with me.

The new visitors' centre at the Arboretum opens to the public on Friday. I was fortunate enough to attend the preview this morning. Well worth a visit.

I would like to add a big thank you to the Sir Michael Bishop Foundation for their support in the construction of this very impressive building.

Thanks for this thread, OP. The NMA has hitherto perhaps been a bit of a known unknown, but is more and more entering our consciousness as it takes shape and form. The web site is excellent, and will play an important part in adding to that consciousness:-

On the subject of the NMA there's a crowdfunding page to raise money for a memorial to the Path Finder Force:

Well worth a visit! Take some tissues though, there is a lot of dust blowing around, well it got in my eyes when I visited.
