Hello everyone, my friend emailed me this today. If anyone is free 30 Jun to attend this gentleman's funeral, it would be appreciated.
The man detailed below was a Lancaster Bomber aircrew and has died with no living relatives.

A little more...with credit due
John Beresford EX RAF aged 92 93 died last week He lived in Sandy bedfordshire. He was a farm worker initially who was exempt from joining up but then he learnt to drive on the farm and as a driver he was not exempt to join up and he enlisted and was sent to Little Rissington then he joined air crew and was a wireless operator, mid upper gunner in Lancasters.
His funeral is Thursday 30th June 11.30 am at Norse Rd crematoriumm Bedford. No flowers but any donations to Papworth Hospital.
He has not got any surviving family but we have managed to get hold of some friends and neighbours and some others and RAF association Bedford Branch will be in attendance and also RBl have been contacteD
