Heads up BBC4 Storyville Last Days of Vietnam

It is on again on Friday on BBC 4 at 1.05am ( Sky channel 116 ) or now on I Player.

It is to mark the 40th anniversary and is a superb documentary with contemporary reflections, some of the footage is stunning and it is a well put together and immensely watchable programme.

Saw it last night. Completely agree with Nutty's assessment.

Also saw it last night; very well put together, great footage and some revealing interviews. I'd never appreciated how much power a US Ambassador could wield.

Very sad to see anyone who'd been 'onside' left to the wolves.
Although very anti mass immigration, I don't like to see, for instance, Afghanis who have assisted us abandoned to their fate whilst we take in any Toryal, Dil and Hariz.

Clearly, many Americans felt the same way about the Vietnamese.

Loved the guy who'd been in 're-education' for about fourteen years and then skipped off to the US. The brainwashing wasn't very successful, was it?
