Harry pulls it off

I think I've just seen the Monarchy firm pull off a PR masterstroke with former AAC pilot Prince Harry's finale delivery at the Invictus Games. Top bloke; and hardly his father's son if presentation is the criterion.

XV490,

Couldn't agree more, XV490 - but your title may be open to lewd interpretation !

Couldn't agree more. Years of having his toothpaste squeezed for him mean that Charles is never going to achieve the common touch, unlike his sons, particularly Harry.

What a great thing he has done. And is doing. And here's a shout out to Gareth Malone for his part in the proceedings.

And Gareth's crew were a very vivid reminder that PTSD can take years to surface....

That was a first class presentation from a former serving soldier who understood what it was all about. Brilliant.

Worth reading Dimbleby's biography of Prince Charles, TankerTN. He didn't get much toothpaste squeezed for him during his upbringing... but was compelled to take no shortage of ice-cold morning showers when he was at school. There's a lot more to him than meets the eye. Let's face it, he could easily have turned out to be a pompous git. But not a bit of it. A different style of presentation from his son's, but still a strong communicator, with quiet dignity, integrity and a nice sense of humour. So I reckon... don't knock the guy!
