Flew with him on 22 many years ago, he was 3 times older than me. A gentleman who was totally unruffled by flying about in the dark with a (single pilot) first tourist child upstairs in the Wessex. We diverted into Cottesmore in TTTE days with an AC Pri failure, the stovies were somewhat surprised to find an operational Master Nav in their midst. Steady, steady.....
