Rather better news than the Brüggen/Elmpt thread. At least it remains in the MOD Estate.

Many happy detachments at Leuchars when up on Dragonfly with the Phantoms. Some great runs ashore in Dundee, and wandering around St Andrews when stood down.

Nice picture - I like the way the pongoes have such a variety of headgear. My son wore about half a dozen colours/types during his 22 years in the REME depending on who he was attached to.

Nice to see that the kilted gent, to The Queens left, has his kilt tucked between his knees, unlike the last time.

TTN. The officer on H.M's right is wearing a single medal on his RHS. I thought that relatives' medals were worn on the right, but not in uniform.

I've blown up the picture as best I can but the medal just becomes a blur of pixels. It could be the RHS medal, the ribbon sort of fits, but I really can't tell. You are correct Oberon, relatives' medals are not worn in uniform
