Whilst welcome, I'd rather it had been an immediate purchase of Meteor for the Typhoon IMHO

Meteor? I worked on the project when it was BVRAAM, before the name Meteor, and whilst still in competitive tender phase. I'm not certain, but didn't it have an ISD of around 2008? Any sign of it entering service this decade?

We already have them. They are being stored in depot, we just haven't got a platform that can fire them yet!
