Hinds over London

About 10 mins ago over Mortlake I just saw what looked like 2 Hinds escorted by an Apache and another thing I could not recognise. May have been a BO-105.
Balloon finally gone up and these were defecting?

Update

Looks like the third type was a Blackhawk...too far away to see which Airforce although I think the Poles might use all three types?

AreOut - bit too literal mate.

Blackhawk makes sense, it had those Pod/Tanks/Whatever on the side.

In my defence they were by in a flash and I was right under them. Still, bad geekyness not picking up the Blackhawk.

RIAT departure

Well, they are more than likely the departures from RIAT as there were two Czech Hinds, (albeit one in comemorative WW2 RAF colors used for static ), USAREUR DUSTOFF UH-60A+ and Heeresflieger BO105 pair (the colorful one on static and the other doing the flying display) Here are my pics from the weekend at Fairford,

cheers

Cheers

The UH-60A+ has the ESSS - External Stores Support System for the fuel tanks.

Cheers

If you'd seen Hind's over London 30 years ago, that would have been a whole different story, 3rd Guards Tank Army on holiday.

Believe I saw a 'Hind' about an hour ago, northbound, 5nm east of Farnborough. I assumed it was the one based at Dunsfold and owned by 'Aces High' as it was coming from the Dunsfold direction.

Are there still a couple of Hinds in the hangar at Hawarden, together with some other ex Soviet aircraft.
Rumour was it would become the Welsh air force if they ever became independent
