Great Picture PJ.
However having fixed the Tonka for 18 yrs, all marks. What is the triangular frame in the front cockpit canopy area? I don't remember anything in that area. Perhaps a Herrick MOD?

There's still a taileron actuator in it!
Looks really easy to get it out with no taileron in the way! No sliding down an oily taileron whilst grappling with the bl**dy thing!
(Happy days.)

Thanks to the pair of marking Tornado Tuesday with a visit to Windermere, Northbound yesterday eve about eight. It occurred that their noise and size is very impressive. If I was an enemy of our country considering mischief, the Tornado would be more intimidating than certain more recent aircraft.

Tornado Tuesday
Sorry to hijack the thread; just a quick thanks to all Tornado crews (some may be on here) who book the occasional instrument approaches at Norwich Airport, I'm one of the ATC Assistants and we all enjoy viewing a proper aircraft!!! Feel free to book many many more in the future 👍
