They are simply marvelous nuttie . . love the casual departure from the lowered ramp

but question your phraseology in the TITLE .. . . ( seeing you are usually near word perfect when you compose a risque caption)

What where the explosions above the AFVs?

That picture was not a parachute jump. I'm pretty sure that picture was jumping from a hovering Chinook into water.
Neither the two legged nor four legged soldier is wearing a parachute and both are wearing flotation devices.
