Saw that when a Lincolnshire friend posted it on facebook. Great that the Dutch are still very appreciative of Bomber Command's efforts. My oldest son's wife is Dutch and her mother told him that they really were on the brink of starvation by late 1944.

In the Arnhem Para museum in 2006, I overheard a 30-ish Dutch mother explaining to her young son just how much the Dutch owed the RAF. They haven't forgotten.
