I'm amazed he found as many as he did. I doubt if half a dozen of the aircraft in my logbook have survived - one Victor at Duxford, a Hastings at Newark and maybe one or two more. Still I guess it wasn't so easy to buy a Victor and sling on the back of a truck!

Apart from a couple at Bruntingthorpe, and those detailed by TTN, I think the rest perished during fire training at Manston or Catterick. A few may still be in use having been converted into saucepans.
There are three jets in the IWM at Duxford that I flew in service: Buccaneer XV865, F-4J ZE359 (now painted in USN colours again) and Jaguar XX108. Makes me realise that the years have passed ...

I was horrified to realize I'm officially history by finding no less than 3 airframes I'd actually flown at Hendon. And I'm not sure about the Grasshopper glider in reception, coz I flew those, too. Oh dear....

It was a 74(F) Sqn aircraft but I flew it when it was loaned to Boscombe Down for a HaveQuick radio trial. I believe that it had some battle damage repairs from service in Vietnam with the USMC.

Tracing (without paper!)
The internet is a wonderful thing. I recently surfed around and have compiled a list and many pictures of the aircraft I have flown in, including some of the trainers. All to go in the Annex to my book!
I've also rather nerdishly surfed around and traced all 117 aircraft in my logbook, and uploaded photos of them all to my LogTen Pro. Somewhat disconcertingly, eight of them have been destroyed in crashes, two fatal.
