The Few are fewer

Not sure if its been noted, but sad to report the death last week of Battle of Britain pilot Sqn Ldr Michael Wainwright aged 95. He shot down an ME 109bf on July 25th 1940 and also claimed another during the Battle of France. He retired from the RAF in 1958.
His funeral is taking place on 2nd April at Holly Trinity church in Stourbridge.

Another of the greatest generation passes on to the other side. Many thanks Sir.
