Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Thanks Coff, and thank you everyone. I am sure I speak for Wholigan, who's having a break, when I say that your help in ensuring that this forum runs properly helps us to enjoy it as much as you do. We are both retired so we can give it all our time when we need to.

So, from both of us please accept our very best wishes for a Happy Christmas with a great time with your families, especially the guys who are now out of harms way - have a special one. For those still engaged we will continue to think of you and also wish you a special yuletide.

smudge (your #20 and t7a),

Lovely pic ! Now, that's what I call an ATC Tower ! (even if it does look like "Holiday Inn"). I could be happy there.

Now Rudolf should have a red nose, and a refuelling probe is no substitute for antlers !

Danny.

My thanks to the MODs for allowing the occasional thread drift on the 'K' model Hercules thread. As the card says 'watch this space' as the new year will hopefully bring forth more tales of the venerable late lamented 'Workules'.

Merry Christmas to all, and thank you too, to the mods. I hope those working, and especially those away, have a peaceful, pleasant time.

Gentlemen all apologies for my absence. The photograph of my RAF Albert was taken by myself at Fagernes, Norway, during exercise "Winter deployment" circa 1989. Here's another, from the other perspective, this taken from the tower on a later visit.

Have a great Christmas one and all.
