Honours, you might think HM The Queen would see fit to bestow,... if someone just told her?
Given he was her aide-de-campe before he left the Navy, one would hope she knew.
However, I guess these things are at the discretion of some paper-pusher somewhere.

There's also a Podcast of lecture to the Royal Aeronautical Society in the iTunes Store. Very good, just a shame the camera operator didn't pan across to the projector screen when he was talking about his slides.

Honours....

Anyone can nominate anyone for an Honour. A Comittee then sits and decides on what honour, if any to bestow. There is (of course) an Official Form...
