Little known fact Isopon is an anagram for poison.
I don't own this space under my name. I should have leased it while I still could

North South Divide
Been Accounting,
No your map cannot be right. Lincoln is not in the south as anyone who has been stationed at Waddington or Scampton will testify. Note the clever inclusion of aviation content!

Had a similar one when I was a stude at Valley. Hole in front fus / avionics door, and took out some wiring e.g. AHARS or whatever it's called? Half seagull ended up in the avionics area and other half down donk.
IIRC boroscope engine, temporary patch, QFI flew it back a few days later, CAT 3.
I'm not sure that pitot tube is bent, just telescopic lens affect?
I would not call it a "massive" bird strike

Pigeons with Death Wish.
Genstabler,
Just spotted your #38. There's many a true story told in jest. Will get around to it (on "Pilots Brevet in WWII") one day soon - if I'm spared that long.
(Don't hold your breath),
D.
EDIT: Clue: Dishforth, summer '72 ('71 ?), AFS operating there as Leeming runway receiving some TLC).
