USS Carl Vinson - F/A-18E Lost

An F/A-18E was lost at sea on a night approach to the USS Carl Vinson last night. The pilot ejected safely, has been recovered and is in a stable condition. All other airborne aircraft were diverted to NAS North Island, Coronado, CA.
