The end is nigh for Alconbury/Molesworth
Looks like the supposed rumors of co-locating / centralizing assets at Croughton is coming to fruition.
Americans planning to leave RAF Molesworth and RAF Alconbury - Latest News - Hunts Post
Though arguably its a bit far out for support from MHZ whereas Alconbury / Molesworth are closer. Plus were there not plans to re locate JAC to Alconbury anyway?
There's not exactly a bustle of room at Croughton anyhow....
which then brings the question of Croughton be managing Fairford then
