Bac Lightning XN728 (A1 Lightning)
Hi All.
I am the owner of the cockpit section of what has to be the most famous lightning out there.
I have been in touch with about ten pilots who flew her now as i am slowly building up a log of as many flights as i can find out and all the details.
The project is a very big one but in the last few weeks quite a lot has been accomplished and i have already collected a lot of parts for eventual fitting when she is ready.
I would love to hear from anyone who has flown her or even worked on her when she was in service as would love to find out more personal experiences with her for my file i am building up on her.
If anyone can also help with any pictures of her when in service or may even know of any parts which may be available so that she can be fully restored and shown in her full glory how she would have looked in service please get in touch via my email which is [email protected]
If anyone would like to know more about her or visit her please get in touch. She is on Lightning turf at Binbrook under cover
Picture taken off her when she was lifted upright after being laid on her side for two years.

There is a nice photograph of this aircraft which can be found on (www) ukserials.com and "double clicking" the airframe number.

Nice one, bin boy. I watched her gradual demise over the years of travelling the A1. Good to see that someone is doing something, but you've got a BIG job on your hands. Never flew the Lightning, but would have loved to.
