Flt Lt 'Rak' Chauhan R.I.P

As if to serve as a reminder to us all that there is no longer a 'front line' in modern warfare, the Int Branch laid to rest its first fatality from either TELIC or HERRICK today. A solemn day for a small Branch.

Hundreds of people line Leicester's Golden Mile for funeral of Flt Lt Rakesh Chauhan | Leicester Mercury

Melchett, you are absolutely correct. Never knew this officer but he clearly earned the respect of all who knew him. A general all-round good egg. Leicester did him proud.

And this gentlemans death has achieved what, I wonder?

When it comes to wars, it's hard to beat Afghanistan for pointlessness.
