Outstanding. My mother lives in Eastbourne, so it's Airborne in August for me. We may never get a chance to see two Lancs flying again.

Yes, article in Flypast said it was only coming for a month, apparently everything aligned, AF and eng hours, maintenance, availability and they had from the outset wanted to bring it home, so a decision was made to go for it..

Sadly as it is a once only thing, we will never get the view of three airworthy lancs in formation. If you are unaware the East Kirby Lanc is being gradually brought back to airworthy. It mentions it will do a Flypast there, one can only hope that it's in formation with the BBMF one over Just Jane running on the ground, now that would be a sight to behold.
