DMO will find a way
Have to agree with Captain Sand Dune and 500N.
No matter if off the shelf DMO will find a way to stuff it up- if it's not the actual aircraft purchase then it will be in training, or publications or spares procurement but no matter what - they will find a way,

And the reason for that is ????????
It all comes down to Empires that have been built.
If people bypass DMO, huge empires will crumble.
However, in saying that, I think the whole orgs, DMO and ADF
lost one hell of a lot of credibility over some purchases and
might not stick head above parapet in the future.
