Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Additionally, IMHO, it is vital to inculcate a military ethos into flying from first principles - from crewroom to cockpit.
Indeed, when one was a baby Beefer many years one was told an old saying - apparently from the 1930s? - which always stuck (and which I often repeated).

"No demonstration to a student is repeated with more accuracy than the behaviour and conduct of the instructor on the ground."
