Wreaths Across America-2013

Volunteers, Veterans, Active Duty and Reserve Military Personnel turned out this weekend to lay Christmas Wreaths at National Cemeteries all across the Country. The Decorations are donated by makers of the Wreaths each Year.

Along with this tradition, Tens of Thousands of packages are mailed to deployed Troops by Volunteer groups and kind hearted folks who remember our Troops who are far away at Christmas.

It is a good thing all these folks do each year.

SASless,

You may have a young country there, but you're already developing some fine traditions. What a fine thing that both industry and private citizens play their part in supporting troops, passed or present, at this time of year. Lets hope the need for wreaths will not increase for next year.

One prays and hope for a lessening of the need for wreaths to acknowledge the fallen and their families.

"but you're already developing some fine traditions."

When it comes to the US Military, the US and it's people are far ahead
of some other countries, including Australia.
