Wonder if the difference in orifice size matters, is it to do with aircraft carriers?

Photo of the two blanking covers that cover the tail end of a Starboard Typhoon WTP. Two towed decoys are fitted inside there when the blanking covers are removed

Arse end of a Stentor rocket motor. It powered the Blue Steel air-launched missile carried by some V-bombers.
