Books That Should Be Required Reading

I tried to revive the "Great Military Reads" thread or whatever it was called but could not find it.

Add this Book to your list.....anyone that has been involved in combat will connect to the Author and his account of his Tour of Duty in Afghanistan as an Infantry Platoon Leader.

I will freely admit to having to put it down as I read his account of learning of the loss of one of his guys while the Author was on Leave back in the USA. It took a while for the Tears to stop before I could pick the book back up. He catches the true essence of what War is all about and how it affects those who are caught up in it. In time this book shall be a Classic.
