Many thanks for the spelling check. My excuse is that I was celebrating the latest test cricket news (England retain the Ashes by the way) with an excellent half price bottle of New Zealand white - very nice.
Cheers

Two fins, and too square a nose for the earlier Shacklebomber?
E-,
No doubt a sav blanc? UnZud sav blanc has overtaken all other white wine sales here, much to the chagrin of our local producers whose product is a much drier and 'traditional' sauvignon blanc than the trans Tasman import. But sales tell the story and the MacDonalds of the wine world just keeps on selling, Oyster Bay being the top earner

The aeroplane overflown is a tail wheeler with an H tail arrangement (2 fins) could it be a Lincoln? There are some good reference points, on the video, of the airfield being overflown so that ought to prod some memories of those that contribute to this forum? Is the airfield being overflown the same as the one at which the landing was made and was that Grimsby (Binbrook)?

I can understand your reluctance to talk about cricket; the news must have come as a blow not dissimilar to the Lions test. Still there's always next year though Lord only knows what will happen at the autumn internationals between England and Australia at Twickenham this year? I think I might pop back to Tesco's for some more of the 1/2 price NZ plonk. Cheers
