Whats the white car under the tank? Looks a bit like an NSU Ro80 Wankel but I'm not sure. Strange choice of cars for a modern action movie

And I believe the Escort used in that hideous new film is just a build-up from an ordinary Escort, not a genuine RS or Mex.
Good to get an expert witness involved, or perhaps to inexpertly report what he said:

We also needed to know the take-off speed. Capt Hollingworth added: "It might take you somewhere around about a minute to get to the correct speed - again, around 150mph."

I've seen a C130 land unload and takeoff on Leavesdens short Runway in 89-90.
That was before it became a film studio.
And the film budget they could probably buy any Escort they wanted or build replicas.

To think I sold my genuine Escort Twin Cam for £1000 back in the late 1980's.....

I remember a mate from RAFMSA having a couple of Mk1's stored in one of the MT sheds at RAF West Drayton back then as well.
The scarcity of the Escort bodies is probably due to the number that were written of by trainee pilots during the 80's
