Marham Relics ...

Just a heads up ...

Watch BBC1’s Antiques Roadshow at 8pm, Sunday, 23rd June. The episode is the final in the present series and the second from RAF Marham in Norfolk. Join Fiona Bruce and the experts as they view antiques and collectibles brought in by 3,500 members of the public to one of the RAF’s most important main operating bases.
Might be a good idea if the Stores had a good clear out ... bound to be stuff from WWII still on charge

Coff.

Probably still some leftover paint from the late '50s when I was ordered, as barrack room Corporal, to have all the beds painted pale blue.

Marham antiques? I thought this would be about the honorary member who use to hang around the bar in the late 80's and early 90's drinking himself to a standstill.

or indeed see the jet powered Slingsby - as FB proudly and frothily announced "this is the first exhibit we have ever had delivered by a jet!", a few minutes after a shot of the Slingsby shutting down.
