@Crab - The original title of this thread was - New Boot's please

Now, unless that was the new boot uttering the word please and, notwithstanding the eminent academic's wish to dumb down the English language further, it was an incorrect use of an apostrophe.

Sorry, the original title of this thread is unchanged, but let's not worry about that

Never thought the forage cap smart - dreadful piece of kit.
Just consigned a pair of '65 pattern flying boots to the tip. Great; sewn in tongue; keeps deep water out, but not in frozen lake on survival course - except no tread (could hold stones which will jam controls) Hmm rambling just in from pub - g'night
