Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Wg Cdr Paul Burns R.I.P.

It is with shock and great sadness that I advise of the sudden death of Paul at his Blackheath home on Friday 10 May.
Paul served as a Navigator on Javelins with 29 and 60 Squadrons before being transferred to Intelligence towards the end of his RAF career.

Owing to the suddeness of his passing, I have been asked by Paul's son Steven, to use this Forum as a swift means of reaching out to Paul's RAF friends, past and present, who would wish to know of the forthcoming funeral which will take place in Stamford on Tuesday 28 May.

Please feel free to PM me should you wish Family Contact details.
