Don't have a piccy but I think the HP Hastings could be a candidate. Theres a T5 at Cosford TG511 which is partial but IIRC the BFDU at Bedford operated one into the 70s

Hey Clicker,

That's my old 6FTS display steed. The jet was painted for the 89 and 90 display seasons after winning the Wright Jubilee Trophy. A Mk5a with tip-tanks. Thanks for the phot..!

The Old RAE ferry, it used to chug around from Farnborough to Aberporth, Llanbedr and West Freugh every Tuesday and Friday. Now in the Science Museum at Wroughton.

Picture from Science Museum Wiki.

Coff

I know it's mentioned, but a picture is worth a thousand words. This could qualify maybe ?

Haraka,

The Shack 3 finished in early 1973, way before 'Raspberry Ripple' came to be. The Shack T4 went on for quite a bit longer but only had the addition of some orange colour enhancements aimed to improved its low-level conspicuity during use for the early electro-optical seeker programmes.

BEagle ... I'm not sure that a Chipmunk or Bulldog ever had the "blue" of the true Raspberry Ripple scheme ? Yes to Red, White, Grey and Black

I'm not aware that the Husky sported Blue as a colour when she was decked out in the RWGB Training Scheme.

But stand to be corrected

Thanks Smuj ... I think that's a "pass" as the scheme isn't a true "ripple"

Learning Command used the term 'raspberry ripple' long before RAE, ETPS, DERA or KwintyKwoo started their red, white and blue colour scheme....

Anyway, whoever heard of a raspberry ripple with blue in it?

This thread is getting a bit spotterish...

As Beags said it all depends on what you mean by "Raspberry Ripple". Certainly that was what we called the JP's when they came in to that scheme (a.k.a." ice cream wagon" , "milk shake" " stop me and buy one" ) at the Towers c. 1968-69.
Farnborough's Western Squadron's Shack 3 latterly had blue nacelles and fins with a blue cheatline and a white back , but admittedly not much red IIRC. The T4 ( also Western squadron, but not in the same scheme) was eventually flown up to a museum in Scotland, being sold for a sum of money less than the cost of the fuel left in its tanks on arrival ( allegedly ) . Happy days.
